In an abundance of caution, and to allow our students, parents and employees plenty of time to prepare for the effects of Hurricane Irma, the Lee County School District is cancelling ALL after school activities, including clubs, athletics and school-based after school care programs on Wednesday, September 6th.
We are also closing schools and district offices on Thursday, September 7th and Friday, September 8th.
LCSD continues to work closely with Lee County Emergency Management Officials to closely monitor the movement and potential impacts of the storm. We will make a decision regarding Monday, September 11th later this week or over the weekend as we evaluate the impact of Irma.
Please follow www.leeschools.net and our social media channels for continued information.
Thank you, and be safe.
